Swan Becomes the First Token Bridged to Base

base

$SWAN has become the first custom SPL token to be bridged onto the Base via Base's Cross Chain ERC20 Factory which enables Solana<>Base interoperability for SOL and SPL-tokens.

As outlined in the $SWAN Strategy update, White Swan is focusing on a mobile-first environment. In addition to Solana Mobile, the Base ecosystem exhibits one of the strongest mobile-first alignments in the blockchain space. Base has been recently pushing boundaries for mobile usability through their native mobile Base App and deeper integrations with the Farcaster ecosystem.

Expect Base to play an increasingly important role in the $SWAN ecosystem as we double down on mobile-first users.

The $SWAN token on Base was automatically created and, as such, is an automatically generated token exempted from the scope of MiCA. $SWAN (the project) has no control over and no ability to modify $SWAN on Base. The bridge smart contracts, backend systems, relayers, validators, and other system components that are utilised by the user interface provided at bridge.swan.meme are entirely independent of $SWAN and fall outside its operational control and responsibility. Any interfaces provided are solely for the purpose of constructing messages that may be relied onto relevant technological systems by the users themselves. $SWAN does not act as an intermediary in any bridging or other transactions. While the interface is provided for informational purposes, $SWAN does not control the smart contracts or automated systems underpinning the bridge functionality and takes no responsibility for their function, availability, or any issues arising from their use. Users should understand the risks and legal implications of bridging before using the interface provided for constructing example bridging messages. Please check the outputs of the messages before relaying them.
